Acquisition of own shares

Oslo, 17 July 2019 - MPC Container Ships ASA (the "Company") on 16 July 2019

through open market transactions repurchased 2,000 common shares at an average

price of NOK 24.33 per share. Following the transaction, the Company holds a

total of 333,096 treasury shares.

The shares were repurchased in accordance with the share buy-back programme

announced on 5 June 2019. For further information, please refer to the Oslo
