MPC Container Ships ASA announces registration of new share capital

Oslo, 9 July 2020 - Reference is made to the stock exchange announcements by MPC

Container Ships ASA (the "Company") regarding the annual general meeting which

was held in the Company on 28 April 2020, where the Company, inter alia,

resolved to decrease the share capital by NOK 823,527,000 from NOK 915,030,000

to NOK 91,503,000 through a reduction of the nominal value of each of the

Company's shares to NOK 1. The reduction amount has been allocated to other

reserves pursuant to the general meeting's resolution.

The share capital decrease has today been registered with the Norwegian Register

of Business Enterprises. The registered share capital of the Company is NOK

91,503,000, divided into 91,503,000 shares, each with a nominal value of NOK

1.00.
