New Share Capital Registered

Oslo, 20 June 2017 - Further to the notice dated 9 June 2017

regarding a private placement of 15,000,000 new shares by MPC

Container Ships AS and the extraordinary general meeting held on 19

June 2017 which approved the share capital increase relating to the

issue of the new shares. The share capital increase has today been

registered with the Register of Business Enterprises. Following

this, the share capital of MPC Container Ships AS is NOK 350,030,000

divided into 35,003,000 shares, each of a nominal value of NOK 10.
