Allocation of shares to primary insiders in a private placement

Oslo, 19 June 2017 - Reference is made to the announcement published

by MPC Container Ships AS (the "Company") on 19 June 2017 regarding

the decision of the Company´s extraordinary general meeting to issue

15,000,000 new shares in a Private Placement (the "Private

Placement"). Shares issued in the Private Placement are allocated to

primary insiders and/or related parties as follows:

CSI Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH, a company related to Dr. Axel

Schroeder (board member) and related parties, was allocated

4,480,000 shares. The total shareholding is 9,503,000 shares.

A fund managed by Ironsides Partners LLC, a company controlled by

Robert Knapp (board member), was allocated 200,000 shares. The total

shareholding is 1,107,000 shares.
