Allocation of shares to primary insiders in a private placement

Oslo, 4 December 2017 - Reference is made to the announcement published by MPC Container Ships AS (the "Company") on 4 December 2017 regarding the decision of the Company´s extraordinary general meeting to issue 30.25 million new shares in a Private Placement (the "Private Placement").

Shares issued in the Private Placement are allocated to related parties of primary insiders as follows:

- A fund managed by Ironsides Partners LLC, a company controlled by Robert Knapp (Director of the Company), was allocated 863,000 shares.
