MPCC: Successful Placement of USD 75 million Tap Issue in 7.375% Senior Unsecured Sustainability-linked Bond Issue
Oslo, Norway, 20 March 2025: MPC Container Ships ASA (the "Company") has today
successfully completed a USD 75 million tap issue in the Company's outstanding
senior unsecured sustainability-linked bond (ISIN: NO0013355248) maturing on 9
October 2029. The bonds pay a coupon of 7.375 % per annum, and the tap issue
priced at 96.0% of par.
Net proceeds from the tap issue will be applied towards general corporate
purposes, including refinancing of existing financial indebtedness and
acquisition of maritime assets. An application will be made for the bonds to
be listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Following the tap issue, the senior unsecured sustainability-linked bond issue
has USD 200 million outstanding.
Arctic Securities and Pareto Securities acted as Global Coordinators and Joint
Bookrunners in the bond issue. Clarksons Securities and Fearnley Securities
acted as co-managers.
