MPC Container Ships AS Reports H1 2017 Results

Oslo, 15 September 2017 - MPC Container Ships AS (together with its

subsidiaries the "Group") today published its interim financial

report for the period ended 30 June 2017:

- Time charter revenues in H1 2017 were USD 1.2 million.

- Gross profit from vessel operations was USD 0.1 million and

operating cash flow was USD 0.5 million.

- The Group reports a loss before taxes (EBT) of USD -0.4 million

for H1 2017.

MPC Container Ship AS is in the start-up phase of its operation and

the present financial performance of the Group is impacted by

initial costs and limited charter activity. By 30 June 2017, the

Group operated 12 container vessels, whereof 7 are fully

consolidated and 5 are operated in a joint venture.
