M. P. EVANS GROUP PLC (the "Group")

CERTIFICATION BY THE ROUND TABLE ON SUSTAINABLE PALM OIL ("RSPO")

The board is pleased to announce that the Group's oil-palm plantation and mill on its project in Kalimantan, Indonesia has received official accreditation from RSPO. Accordingly, the crude palm oil produced by the mill from the fresh fruit bunches (f.f.b.) grown on the Group's surrounding plantation can now be certified as having been derived from a sustainable source. As a result of the foregoing, the Group's majority-owned palm-oil mills (in Sumatra and Kalimantan) and the two mills owned by the associated company, PT Agro Muko, are now all RSPO accredited.
