The board of M.P. Evans notes recent media speculation in relation to The North Australian Pastoral Company Pty Limited ("NAPCo").

Following the sale of Woodlands in November 2015, NAPCo is the Group's sole investment in Australia. As previously stated, the board continues to review any potential strategic opportunities with regard to this holding, including a possible sale.

The Company will keep the market informed as appropriate.
