The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– MorphoSys Appoints General Counsel and Corporate Communications Manager MorphoSys AG (Neuer Markt: MOR) announced the appointments of Dr. Claudia Gutjahr-Löser to the post of Manager Corporate Communications and Dr. Alexander Oehmichen to the post of General Counsel. Dr. Gutjahr-Löser joins MorphoSys from cassiopeia AG, where she held the positions of Investor Relations Manager and Assistant to the C.E.O. At cassiopeia AG she played an instrumental role in organizing financing rounds and her role outside of investor relations including responsibilities for the human resources and legal functions. Prior to this position, she worked at Deutsche Bank in various capacities. Dr. Gutjahr-Löser holds an Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Munich. In the role of this newly created position, she will report to Dave Lemus, Chief Financial Officer of MorphoSys, and be primarily responsible for European corporate communications. Prior to joining MorphoSys, Dr. Oehmichen held several management positions in pharmaceutical companies such as Boehringer Mannheim GmbH (Germany) and Knoll AG (Germany), where he acquired extensive experience in business law. In his most recent position at Abbott GmbH & Co. KG, he headed the legal department, counseling and guiding the management in all legal implications of corporate strategy and policies. He was also responsible for negotiating all major agreements, with emphasis on the areas of merger and acquisitions, strategic licenses and alliances.
