RESULTS
We are pleased to announce strong full year results for Morphic Ethical Equities Fund Limited (MEC or the Company) for the year ended 30 September 2018, the Company’s first full year of operation.
The Company reporting an operating profit before tax of $5.3m and $3.8m after tax and ended the year with its NTA per share close to its all-time high at $1.175 (pre-tax).
The board has declared a final dividend of 1 cent per share fully franked which brings the total dividend for the year to 2 cents per share fully franked.
The Chairman, JoAnna Fisher, said, “In the Prospectus for our listing in mid - 2017 we foreshadowed our intention to commence paying dividends, subject to availability of distributable profits, after the end of our first full year of operation. It gave us great pleasure therefore to bring forward the payment of our maiden fully franked dividend by six months – and we are pleased to say that we will be paying a similar fully franked final dividend of 1 cent per share for financial year 2018.”

The Company’s 2018 AGM will be held 11.00am on 22 November 2018 at The ISC Room, Level 4, Automobile Club of Australia, 89 Macquarie Street in Sydney CBD. The directors encourage shareholders to attend the meeting. Morphic will be holding investor briefings with an update on its holdings and strategy as follows:
