Morgan Sindall Group plc secures place on £4 billion Southern Construction Framework

Morgan Sindall Group plc, the construction and regeneration group, today announces that its construction and infrastructure division, Morgan Sindall plc, has been appointed on the Southern Construction Framework. The framework, valued at £4 billion, operates as a vehicle for public bodies to procure building projects worth over £1 million.

Covering the South of England, the Southern Construction Framework has been established jointly by Hampshire County Council, Devon County Council, and Haringey Council. The framework will govern the procurement of a full spectrum of new build and refurbishment schemes in education, health and community. Morgan Sindall plc has been appointed on all three framework lots for projects ranging in value from £1 million upwards.

The framework is set to be operational from summer 2015 and succeeds the iESE (Improvement & Efficiency South East) framework, the Construction Framework South West (CFSW), and the London Construction Programme. It will also be complementary to the new suite of local construction frameworks being established by the London Construction Programme.
