Morgan Advanced Materials plc announces that Andrew Reynolds Smith, Non-executive Director, is stepping down from its Board as his other commitments have grown.

Andrew has been on the Board of Morgan Advanced Materials, and as a member of the Group's Audit, Nomination and Remuneration Committees for three years. He became Chief Executive of Smiths Group plc in September 2015.

His departure date will be 6 May 2016 after the Company's Annual General Meeting.

Andrew Shilston, Chairman, said: "I would like to thank Andrew Reynolds Smith for his significant contribution to Morgan Advanced Materials over the last three years and we wish him every success in the future."
