Si consolida lo sviluppo del licensing di Robot Trains, la property distribuita da Mondo TV sulla base dell'accordo di distribuzione con CJ E&M

Concluso un ulteriore deal nel settore licensing e merchandising con Gedis S.r.l. per i territori di Francia e Spagna

3 luglio 2017 – Mondo TV, uno dei più grandi produttori e distributori europei di programmi animati, comunica di aver raggiunto ancora un nuovo accordo per la concessione di alcuni diritti licensing connessi alla property Robot Trains, di proprietà di CJ E&M, società di contenuti e marketing coreana, e di cui Mondo TV è distributore.

Si tratta in questo caso di una licenza concessa a Gedis S.r.l. in relazione ai prodotti c.d. flowpack da distribuirsi sul canale edicola per un periodo di due anni a partire dal 1 gennaio 2018 in Francia e Spagna.

L'accordo prevede il pagamento di un minimo garantito, interessante per la categoria di prodotto, e il pagamento di royalties in caso di superamento di tale importo. Si rammenta che parte dei suddetti importi (sia minimi garantiti che royalties) andranno ritornati a CJ E&M quale titolare della property, potendo la Mondo TV trattenere il 30% degli stessi. Oltre al dato economico, che potrà essere rilevante in caso di superi del minimo garantito, l'accordo rappresenta la conferma della ottima partenza del piano di sfruttamento licensing di Robot Trains da cui si attendono risultati interessanti per la Mondo TV già a partire dal 2017.

The licensing plan on Robot Trains, the property distributed by Mondo TV on the basis of the agreement with CJ E&M, is strengthening

Further deal in the licensing and merchandising sector entered into by Mondo TV with Gedis S.r.l. for the territories of France and Spain

3 July 2017: Mondo TV, one of the largest European producers and distributors of animated programs, announces to have reached one more new agreement for the granting of certain licensing rights related to the property Robot Trains, owned by the Korean content and marketing company, CJ E&M, and which is distributed by Mondo TV.

In this case, Mondo TV granted to Gedis S.r.l. a license in relation to certain flowpack products for a period of two years starting from 1 January 2018 in France and Spain.

The agreement provides for the payment of a minimum guarantee, interesting for the product category, and payment of royalties in case of overages above of the aforementioned minimum guarantee. It is recalled that part of these amounts (both minimum guarantees and royalties) will be returned to CJ E & M as the owner of the property, Mondo TV withholding 30% of the same. In addition to economic data, which could become significant in case of overages above the minimum guarantee, the agreement represents the confirmation of the very good start of the licensing exploitation plan for Robot Trains from which interesting results are expected for Mondo TV already along 2017.
