MONDO TV raggiunge un'intesa con New Information Tech, società di Taipei ("NIT") per l'acquisto da parte di quest'ultima del 50% dei diritti di sfruttamento dei due nuovi progetti in fase di sviluppo da parte della Mondo TV per il mercato asiatico per l'importo di 5 milioni di dollari per ciascun progetto

NIT si occuperà inoltre della distribuzione per cinque anni delle due nuove serie in Cina

L'intesa costituisce uno dei più significativi accordi della Mondo TV e è un importante passo nella realizzazione del piano di sviluppo di nuove properties prioritariamente destinate al mercato asiatico che costituisce potenzialmente il principale mercato per lo sviluppo del business del gruppo Mondo TV

22 marzo 2016 – A pochi giorni dalla sottoscrizione dell'accordo con Nada Holdings per la realizzazione di due nuovi progetti di animazione in Asia e destinati prioritariamente al mercato cinese e asiatico (cfr comunicato stampa del 18 marzo 2016), Mondo TV comunica oggi di aver raggiunto un'intesa parallela con la società New Information Tech, società avente sede a Taipei (Taiwan) per l'acquisto da parte della medesima società di una quota pari al 50% dei diritti di sfruttamento delle due serie. NIT inoltre si occuperà della distribuzione in Cina per un periodo di cinque anni delle due serie.

Il corrispettivo che sarà pagato nel corso di realizzazione delle due serie (la cui conclusione è prevista entro il 31 dicembre 2018) da NIT alla Mondo TV per l'acquisto dei suddetti diritti è a 5 milioni di dollari per ciascuna serie.

Oltre alla significatività del corrispettivo ricevuto, l'intesa costituisce un importante passo nella realizzazione del piano di sviluppo delle due nuove properties prioritariamente destinate al mercato cinese e asiatico con l'individuazione di un partner che potrà supportare la Mondo TV nel lancio dei prodotti in Cina. Il mercato asiatico può potenzialmente costituire il principale mercato per lo sviluppo del business del gruppo Mondo TV.

MONDO TV executed an agreement with New Information Tech, a Taipei based company ("NIT") for the acquisition by the latter of 50% of the rights on the two new projects, which are being developed by Mondo TV for the Asian market upon a consideration of 5 million USD per project

NIT will also take care of the distribution of the two series for five years in China

The agreement represents one of the most significant agreements of Mondo TV, and it is an important step in the realization of the plan for the development of the new properties priory destined to the Asian market, which may potentially be the main market for the business development of Mondo TV Group

22 March 2016 – Within few days from the execution of the agreement with Nada Holdings for the realization of two new animation projects in Asia, and priory destined to the Asian and Chinese markets (see the press release dated 18March 2016), Mondo TV informs today to have reached a parallel agreement with the company New Information Tech, based in Taipei (Taiwan), for the acquisition by the latter of 50% of the exploitation rights on the two new series. NIT will also take care of the distribution of the two series for five years in China.

The consideration to be paid by NIT to Mondo TV along the production of the two series (whose conclusion shall be within 31 December 2018) for the acquisition of the above rights will be 5 million USD for each project.

Further to the importance of the consideration, the agreement constitutes an important step in the realization of the plan for the development of the new properties priory destined to the Asian market, since it appoints the partner which can support Mondo TV in the launch of the products in China. Hence, Asia may potentially be the main market for the business development of Mondo TV Group
