Mondo TV comunica la chiusura una licenza con KSM Gmbh per lo sfruttamento audiovisivo di alcuni prodotti della library classica in Germania, Austria e altre aree germanofone in Europa

28 febbraio 2018 – Mondo TV annuncia che KSM Gmbh ha acquistato una licenza per lo sfruttamento audiovisivo di tre serie e tre film della library classica della Mondo TV. La licenza prevede il diritto di sfruttamento dei programmi in tedesco in Germania, Austria, Liechtenstein, Lussemburgo, Svizzera tedesca e Alto Adige per un periodo di sei anni a partire dal 1 marzo 2018.

Benché la licenza sia stata concessa a fronte di un corrispettivo flat in sé non particolarmente rilevante, per lo sviluppo del business della Mondo TV è importante questa vendita ad un nuovo cliente in un mercato tradizionalmente non facile per il Gruppo, tanto più in quanto la licenza riguarda titoli classici della library.

Mondo TV announces the execution of a license with KSM Gmbh for the audiovisual exploitation of some classic library products in Germany, Austria and other Germanspeaking areas in Europe

February 28, 2018 - Mondo TV announces that KSM GmbH has acquired a license for the audiovisual exploitation of three series and three movies from the classic library of Mondo TV. The license includes the right to exploit programs in German in Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, German-speaking Switzerland and South Tyrol for a period of six years starting from 1 March 2018.

Although the license has been granted for a flat fee that is not particularly relevant, for the development of the Mondo TV business, the license is relevant since it represents a sale to a new customer in a market traditionally not easy for the Group, especially considering that the license concerns classic library titles.

Mondo TV, listed in the Star segment of Borsa Italiana, has its registered office in Rome and is a Group made up of four companies; the Group is a leader in Italy and among the primary European operators in the production and distribution of television series and cartoon films for TV and the cinema, and is active in the related sectors (audiovisual and musical distribution, licensing, media, publishing and merchandising).
