Update on departure of Dr Lynn Burmeister

Monash IVF Group Limited (ASX:MVF, the "Company" or "Monash IVF") and Dr Lynn Burmeister advise that they have agreed to resolve all issues in dispute between them. This includes the existing proceedings in the Supreme Court of New South Wales and in the Supreme Court of Victoria.

In resolving the dispute, Monash IVF and Dr Burmeister have put aside their commercial differences to focus on patient care. Maintaining the highest quality of patient care is the paramount concern for both parties.

Dr Burmeister and Monash IVF have agreed that they will amicably terminate their longstanding relationship on 11 September 2017. Dr Burmeister and Monash IVF will work cooperatively to ensure a smooth transition for patients.

Monash IVF has always considered the 12 month restraint that applies to Dr Burmeister to be valid. Dr Burmeister has agreed to comply with a restraint, within 50 kilometres from Monash IVF’s clinics in Hawthorn, Richmond and/or Clayton, for a period of 12 months. Monash IVF and Dr Burmeister have agreed that the interests of their patients would be best served by resolving this matter to provide certainty and continuity of care for patients.

Dr Burmeister has been a fertility specialist with Monash IVF for essentially all of her practising career, spanning nearly 20 years. She acknowledges the support that she has received from Monash IVF throughout this period. Monash IVF thanks Dr Burmeister for her substantial contributions to Monash IVF over her long period of service. During this time Monash IVF has pioneered a range of world leading scientific innovations and clinical technologies for the benefit of patients both in Australia and globally.

Monash IVF and Dr Burmeister wish each other well in their future endeavours.
