Sub: Request for waiver of time limit for publication of Unaudited Financial Results of MMTC Ltd for the quarter ended 31.12.2020.

Sir/Madam,

With reference to the above subject, we would like to inform you that the Accounts of JV company – M/s Neelachal Ispat Nigam Ltd (NINL) for 2019-20 onwards have still not been finalized which are required to be submitted to DIPAM, Govt of India under divestment process. This may also have bearing on the accounts of MMTC Ltd. Vide our letter no. BS/325/SE.S/2015 dated 27.1.2021 a copy of Press Release regarding EOI Notice issued by DIPAM for strategic disinvestment of NINL was sent to the Stock Exchanges. Therefore, the company is not able to hold the Board Meeting for consideration and approval of the Unaudited Financial Results including consolidated results for the quarter ended 31[st] December 2020 within the stipulated time of 14[th] February 2021 under the provisions of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015. We, therefore, request you to grant us time for holding the Board Meeting in this regard by 28[th] February 2021 and publication of unaudited results thereof.
