The issuer is solely responsible for the content of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– MLP: Strong growth figures reported again for the first quarter 2001 In the first quarter 2001 the total group revenues at MLP in-creased by 38.6 percent from 149.1 million euro to 206.6 million euro. The consolidated earnings before tax on income rose from 14.0 million euro by 32.5 percent to 18.6 million euro. At the end of the reporting period the consulting company MLP Finanzdienstleistungen AG supported some 390,000 clients with 2,168 financial consultants in 250 offices. As such, half of the new 60 branch offices scheduled to open in 2001 have already realised this in the first quarter, a total of 280. MLP expects to record stable growth of some 30 percent throughout the course of this business year.
