MITCHELL SERVICES LIMITED (ASX: MSV)

ASX Announcement

Material contract award

Mitchell Services Limited is pleased to announce that it has secured a two-year contract with global resource company Glencore at its Clermont operation for the provision of near mine exploration drilling.

Clermont is a large scale open-cut operation, located approximately 12 kilometres from the town of Clermont in central Queensland. After commencing operations in 2010, Clermont produces approximately 12 million metric tonnes of high energy thermal coal.

In announcing the award, Chief Executive Officer Andrew Elf said:

“The Clermont award further strengthens our base of long term, multi-year, multi-rig contracts with Tier 1 clients that, following recent announcements, now also include South 32, Evolution Mining, and Anglo American. The award also strengthens our position within the overall Queensland drilling market and assists in maintaining an appropriate commodities and drilling market mix”.
