APPOINTMENT OF FINANCE DIRECTOR

Mirvac Group (“Mirvac”) (ASX: MGR) Chairman Mr James MacKenzie today announced the appointment of Greg Dyer to the role of Finance Director. Greg will join the Mirvac Board as an executive director on his commencement and will assume the responsibilities of the current Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) Justin Mitchell, who announced his intention to leave the Group on 1 October 2012.

Greg joins Mirvac from Mulpha Australia Limited (“Mulpha”) where he has been the CFO since 2005. Allied to this role, he has also served as a non-executive Director at FKP Property Group (in which Mulpha has a 26 per cent interest), where he was a member of the Audit Committee and Capital Raising Due Diligence Committee.

Prior to his role at Mulpha, Greg was CFO of APN News & Media Limited, with prior experience as Finance Director at Murdoch Magazines and Group Financial Controller at Australian Consolidated Press Holdings Ltd. Greg also spent 10 years at KPMG working across Audit, Corporate Advisory and Corporate Risk consulting.

“The Board is very pleased to have Greg join Mirvac as Finance Director. He brings extensive financial management experience including corporate finance and capital management as well as corporate restructuring and mergers and acquisitions. We look forward to his contribution to both the management team and the Board,” said Mr MacKenzie.

Mirvac’s Managing Director, Mr Nicholas Collishaw said, “Strong financial discipline is central to Mirvac’s drive for improved return on invested capital and shareholder returns. Greg’s extensive experience and insight will be of great value as we continue to deliver on the Group’s strategy.”

Greg has a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Sydney. He is also qualified as a Chartered Accountant.

Greg will commence in the role of Finance Director on 4 September 2012.
