RETIREMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Mirvac Group [ASX:MGR] advises that Rick Turner, a Non-Executive Director, has retired from the Mirvac Board.

Mirvac’s Chairman, James MacKenzie, said “Rick Turner has had a long and distinguished career and is highly regarded in the Australian business community.

“Rick has been an invaluable member of the Board, overseeing a number of strategic decisions including the recent recapitalisation which has underpinned Mirvac’s strengthened financial position.

“I thank him for his considerable contribution to the Group.”

Mr Turner, aged 72, has served the Mirvac Group for nine years, including his time as a NonExecutive Director on the James Fielding Group Board prior to its merger with Mirvac.

The search for Mr Turner’s replacement is underway with the Board expecting to announce his replacement before the Group’s Annual General Meeting on 19 November 2009.
