Mintra appoints Torbjørn Blom-Hagen as new CFO

Mintra has appointed Torbjørn Blom-Hagen as the group’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from 13th September 2021.

Mr Blom-Hagen has more than 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, projects and M&A. He was recently CFO of Euronext Growth-listed ELOP AS.

Prior to ELOP, Mr Blom-Hagen was Head of M&A at Kongsberg Gruppen, Head of International Division at Multiconsult, Senior Vice President at Aker Solutions in various positions across finance, strategy/business development and M&A, Senior M&A Advisor at Equinor, and Project Manager at Telenor. He also held multiple board memberships and roles in other companies.

Mr Blom-Hagen has an MSc Engineering from NTNU and an MBA from INSEAD.

Mr Blom-Hagen succeeds Ian Mackie, who will leave the company in October, after a short handover. Mr Mackie has been with Mintra, and before that, Atlas Knowledge – a company acquired by Mintra in 2018 - for several years.

Mr Short added: “I have worked alongside Ian for almost a decade. The company and I are truly grateful to Ian for his hard work and the contributions he has made over the years, and we wish him continued success for the future.”
