Request for Suspension
Georgina Energy Plc provides the following update in relation to the publication of its Audited Annual Report and Financial Statements for the 12-month financial period ended 31 January 2025 (the "2025 Annual Report").
As stipulated by DTR 4.1.3R. of the Financial Conduct Authority (the "FCA"), the Company is required to publish its 2025 Annual Report by no later than 31 May 2025. The Company appointed new auditors, PKF ("Auditors") for the purposes of auditing the 2025 Annual Report. The Directors have now been advised by PKF that they expect to complete the audit of the 2025 Annual Report during June 2025.
The Company has requested the FCA to approve the temporary suspension of listing on the Official List and the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange from 7.30 a.m. on Monday 2 June 2025 (the "Suspension").
The Company will publish its 2025 Annual Report immediately after completion of the audit by PKF, following which the Company will apply for the Suspension to be lifted and the shares to re-commence trading. A further announcement in this respect will be made in due course.
