ASX ANNOUNCEMENT

18 June 2018

Mineral Resources Limited ( ASX: MIN ; MRL , the Company ) notes today’s announcement from Hancock Prospecting subsidiary Redstone Corporation Pty Ltd ( Redstone ) that Redstone has made a takeover offer to acquire all of the ordinary shares of Atlas Iron ( Atlas ) at a price of 4.2¢ cash per Atlas share.

On 9 April 2018, MRL and Atlas executed a Scheme Implementation Deed ( Scheme ) in relation to a combination of the companies, which provides MRL with matching rights in relation to competing proposals (see Atlas’ ASX Announcement of 9 April 2018).

MRL is currently considering its position and will advise its intentions in due course.
