NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the 3rd Annual General Meeting ("AGM") of the Members of Aarti Surfactants Limited ("the Company") will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 04.00 p.m. (IST) through Video Conferencing ("VC")/ Other Audio-Visual Means ("OAVM") to transact the business, as set out in the Notice convening AGM. In line with the Circulars dated April 08, 2020, April 13, 2020 and May 05, 2020 followed by Circular dated January 13, 2021 (Collectively referred to as "MCA Circulars") issued by Ministry of Corporate Affairs and SEBI Circular dated May 12, 2020 followed by circular dated January 15, 2021 (collectively referred as "SEBI Circulars"), AGM of the Company is permitted to be held through VC or OAVM without physical presence of the Members at AGM venue. Hence, the AGM of the Company for FY21 is being held through VC/OAVM mode.
In Compliance with the Circulars, electronic copies of the AGM Notice and Annual Report have been sent to all members whose email ids are registered with the Company/ Depository Participant(s) and the same are also uploaded on the website of the Company at www.aartisufactants.com and can also be accessed from the websites of the Stock Exchanges i.e BSE Limited and National Stock Exchange of India Limited at www.bseindia.com and www.nseindia.com respectively and on the website of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) i.e www.evoting.nsdl.com. The Dispatch of the Annual Report of the Company for the FY21 along with the AGM Notice through emails has been completed on July 17, 2021.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 108 of the Act read with Rule 20 of the Companies (Management and Administration) Rules, 2014, as amended from time to time, Regulation 44 of the SEBI Listing Regulations and Secretarial Standard on General Meetings (SS-2) issued by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, the Company is providing voting (remote e-voting) facility to all the members to cast their votes on all resolutions set out in the Notice of the 3rd AGM. For this purpose, the Company has availed facility for voting through electronic means from National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL).
The e-voting period shall commences on Saturday, August 07, 2021 (9:00 am) and ends on Monday, August 09, 2021 (5:00 pm). During this period, Members holding shares either in physical form or in dematerialized form as on cut-off date i.e. Tuesday, August 03, 2021 may cast their vote electronically. The e-voting module shall be disabled by NSDL for voting thereafter.
Members who have acquired shares after the sending of Annual Repor through electronic means and holds shares as on cut-off date may obtair the User ID and Password by sending a request at [email protected] or [email protected]. However if the person is already registered with NSDL for remote e-voting then you may use existing User ID and Password, and cast your vote.
The facility for e-voting will also be made available during AGM and those members present in the AGM through VC/OAVM, who have not cast their vote on the resolution through remote e-voting and or otherwise not barred from doing so shall be eligible to vote through the e-voting systems at the AGM The members who cast their vote by remote e-voting prior to the AGM may also attend the AGM but shall not be entitled to cast their votes again.
Members who do not have the User ID and Password for e-voting and for attending AGM through VC/OAVM or have forgotten the User ID and Password may retrieve the same by following the remote e-voting instructions mentioned in the Notice of 3rd AGM. THE DELHI HIGH Court Monday sought response of the CBI and ED on bail pleas of alleged middleman Christian Michel James, who is lodged in jail in connection with alleged AgustaWestland scam related corruption and money laundering cases.
The accused has challenged the trial court's order denying him the relief.
Justice Manoj Kumar Ohri issued notices to the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Enforcement Directorate (ED) and asked them to file replies to the petitions seeking bail in both cases and listed the matter for further hearing on September 21.

Will appear before ED after SC's decision on my plea: Deshmukh
FORMER MAHARASHTRA HOME minister Anil Deshmukh on Monday said he will appear before the Enforcement Directorate to record his statement in connection with its probe into a money laundering case after the Supreme Court's decision over his petition seeking protection from any coercive action in the case.
In a video message, Deshmukh said, "The ED has provisionally seized my family's property estimated at around ₹4 crore."
He said his son Salil Deshmukh had purchased a land worth $\bar{\tau}$ 2.67 crore in 2006, which has also been seized. "However, some media reports are saying that the ED has seized Salil Deshmukh's land worth ₹300 crore, which, in fact, was purchased by my son's company for ₹2.67 crore. These news are misleading," he said.
Deshmukh had earlier skipped ED's summons for questioning in the case. He recently moved the SC seeking protection from any coercive action in the money laundering case. "I had received ED's summons after which I filed a petition in the Supreme Court. I will go to the ED to record my statement after the SC's decision on my petition," the former minister said. $-PTI$

KERALA STARTUP MISSION (KSUM), the Kerala government's nodal agency for entrepreneurship development and incubation activities, has invited applications from womenimpact tech startups for the world's largest startup competition for women and technology. The competition is being held in association with She Loves Tech (SLT). The competition gives startups an opportunity to win up to $50,000 from SLT, Teja Ventures and Asian Development Bank Ventures, special media and mentorship prizes, fast track access to SLT partner funds and accelerator programmes, and in-house advisory services, among others, KSUM sources said. The challenge, "She Loves Tech 2021 Global Startup Competition," provides an international platform for women entrepreneurs as well as startups dedicated to improving the lives of women. The applicants need to have a minimum viable product (MVP) and have raised less than $5 million. They should be an early-stage startup with either a tech product largely impacting women or a female founder or both. Short-listed startups will get an opportunity to meet investors, get mentorship and funding support, free access to knowledge workshops and opening to pitch at global events.

ಅವರು ಪಟಣದ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಪಥವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಎಸ್ಸೆಸ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸುಲಲಿತವಾಗಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಗೊಂದಲವಿಲ್ಲದೆ, ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯಿರಿ, ಉತಮ ಅಂಕಗಳನು ಪಡೆದು ನಮ ತಾಲೂಕು, ಜಿಲ್ಲೆ, ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಸರು ತರುವಂತೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು. ಶಾಸಕನಾದ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷದಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತಮ ಶಿಕಣ ಪಡೆದಿರುವ ಮಕಳು ಹೆಸರು ತಂದಿರುತಾರೆ. ಇಂತಹ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಪುಣ್ಯ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದಂತೆ ಆಗಿದೆ, ಪೋಷಕರು ಕಷ್ಣಪಟ್ಟು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಶೈಕಣಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟ ಸುಧಾರಿಸಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತಾಹ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಶಿಕಕರು ಸಹ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಅನುಕೂಲ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲು ಲಯನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತ್ ಸ್ಟೌಚ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗೈಡ್ಸ್ ಸಹ ಸಹಕಾರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದೆ, ಶಾಲೂಕಿನ ಜನತೆಯ ಪರವಾಗಿ ತಾವು ಸಹ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತೇವೆ, ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಎಸೆಸೆಲಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಬರೆಯುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭಕೋರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದರು.
