Appointment of CFO and Company Secretary

Minbos Resources Limited ( Minbos or Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of experienced finance professional Stef Weber as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Company Secretary effective immediately, following the resignation of Ms Paige Exley as Company Secretary.

On behalf of the Board, Non-Executive Chairman Mr Peter Wall conveyed his appreciation to Ms Exley for her valuable contribution to the Company and wished her well in her future endeavours.

Mr Weber is a qualified chartered accountant and company secretary with nearly 20 years experience in senior managent roles in the resources industry across various commodities both in Australia and Africa. Mr Weber has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, fundraising (debt and equity), tax planning, and financial management of projects from feasibility studies through construction into production.

Mr Weber career includes 16 years with large and diversified resources company Exxaro Resources Limited (“Exxaro”). Mr Weber held various senior financial positions in Exxaro both in South Africa as Financial Manager at the Grootegeluk coal mine which operates the world’s largest coal beneficiation complex, and Australia where he was CFO for Exxaro’s Australian operations including their 50% interest in the Tiwest minerals sands and pigment joint venture.

Before joining Minbos Mr Weber was the CFO and Company Secretary of resource development company Aviva Corporation Limited (Aviva). During this period Aviva divested its West Kenyan gold and base metals assets in late 2012 to African Barrick Plc for $20M cash and a further resource milestone payment of $10M. Mr Weber was also involved in the transaction between Aviva and Decimal Software Limited (“Decimal”) earlier in the year transitioning Aviva from a mining to a technology company.

CEO, Mr Lindsay Reed said: “Minbos is pleased to have appointed someone of Mr Weber’s ability. His experience in the resources industry, Africa, industrial minerals and joint ventures and on projects from feasibility studies through to production will be of great value for Minbos.”
