MilDef Group wins Swedish order worth 50.1 MSEK
MilDef Sweden AB, a subsidiary of MilDef Group AB ("MilDef"), a global supplier of tactical IT, has received an order worth 50.1 MSEK for specialized network switches in an integration project. The order is part of a larger system and planned delivery will take place during 2022. Additional orders within the same project are anticipated.
The order will provide the Swedish Armed Forces with significant components for its digital infrastructure. The systems are designed to function as mobile nodes for the Armed Forces' forward command posts. MilDef has earlier during 2021 delivered prototype systems and these have undergone thorough tests that prove both capacity and modularity. The successful results from these tests have now generated this serial order.
"We are proud to be part of the digitalization and modernization of the Swedish Armed Forces," says Evelina Hedskog, Managing Director of MilDef Sweden AB. "This important order underpins the trust the Swedish Armed Forces and FMV have in our products, services and systems."
