Nano Commercialisation Update: First From Production Acceptance
Micro-X Limited (ASX:MX1) is pleased to announce that its distribution partner, Carestream Health Inc., formally accepted the ‘First From Production’ of the DRX Revolution Nano Mobile x-ray units at a ceremony at Micro-X’s facility at Tonsley today attended by The Hon Jay Weatherill, Premier of South Australia.
Charlie Hicks, General Manager of Global X-Ray Solutions at Carestream Health, accepting the units, spoke of his company’s excitement at bringing this ground-breaking technology to market. “Carestream Health is a market leader in introducing innovative technologies to address the needs of healthcare providers and we are proud of our partnership with Micro-X to make this another successful Carestream product.”
“This is a huge milestone for Micro-X” said Micro-X Managing Director, Peter Rowland, “These are the first production-standard units, fully capable and approved for clinical use to be built and now delivered to Carestream.”
The event was also attended by many of Micro-X’s key supply-chain partners as well as representatives from Federal and State Government, Health Industries SA, and Marion Council who were able to see the DRX Revolution Nano production line assembly in operation.
