ASX Announcement – MICRO-X LIMITED (ASX: MX1)
CHANGES TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
The Board of Micro-X Limited (ASX: MX1) advises that Mr Jim McDowell and Mr David Symons, both of whom are Non-Executive Directors, have communicated their intention to resign their directorships of Micro-X Limited in coming months as a result of imminent career changes.
Mr McDowell has accepted an offer to become the Chief Executive of the Department of Premier and Cabinet in the South Australian State Government and this role requires that Mr McDowell resigns from his other commercial appointments. Mr Symons will also soon transition to a new executive role which precludes external directorships.
Mr McDowell has advised the company of his intention to resign effective from the close of business on 31 August 2018, and Mr Symons will retire from the Board at the company’s Annual General Meeting in November.
The Chairman of Micro-X Limited, on behalf of the Directors, expressed appreciation for the enormous contribution made by Jim and David during their time on the Board of Micro-X Limited. The team at Micro-X congratulates them on their new roles and wishes them every success in the exciting new challenges they are taking on.
