Company Secretary Appointment

Mount Gibson Iron Limited ( Mount Gibson ) is pleased to announce that David Stokes will join Mount Gibson as Company Secretary and General Counsel with effect from 2 April 2012.

Mr Stokes was previously the Company Secretary and General Counsel at Gindalbie Metals Limited, a position he held since November 2006, and has extensive experience as a corporate/commercial lawyer in the resources sector.

Mr Stokes will succeed David Berg, who has resigned after nearly four years in the position. Mr Berg will step down as Company Secretary effective from 3 April 2012 but will continue as an employee of Mount Gibson for a transition period.

We welcome Mr Stokes to Mount Gibson and thank Mr Berg for his valuable contribution to the Company.

Mount Gibson also advises that long serving Chief Financial Officer Alan Rule will be standing down in early July. Mr Rule, who has been with Mount Gibson for seven years, wishes to pursue other opportunities.

An executive search to find a suitably experienced successor to Mr Rule is underway, and Mr Rule has committed to provide any necessary ongoing support and assistance to ensure an effective transition.
