METHANEX TO PRESENT AT RBC CAPITAL MARKETS’ GLOBAL MINING AND MATERIALS CONFERENCE

Methanex Corporation will be presenting at the upcoming RBC Capital Markets’ Global Mining and Materials Conference in Toronto. Mr. John Floren, Methanex’s Senior Vice President, Global Marketing & Logistics, will speak to investors on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at approximately 11:30 a.m. ET (8:30 a.m. PT).

Interested participants can access a live webcast of the presentation through the Company’s website at www.methanex.com/investor/events.html . The length of the webcast will be approximately 25 minutes. The webcast will be available on our website for three weeks following the conference.
