METHANEX TO PRESENT AT NASDAQ OIL AND GAS CONFERENCE IN LONDON, ENGLAND

Methanex Corporation will be presenting at the upcoming NASDAQ Oil and Gas Conference being held March 6, 2007 in London, England. Mr. Bruce Aitken, Methanex’s President and Chief Executive Officer, will speak to investors on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at approximately 1:15 p.m. London Time (5:15 a.m. Vancouver Time).

Interested participants can access a live audio webcast of the presentation through the Company’s website at http://www.methanex.com/investor/events.html . The webcast will last for approximately 30 minutes. In addition, an audio recording of the presentation can be downloaded from our website for three weeks after the conference.
