Metgasco Ltd (ASX: MEL) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Metgasco Ltd (‘MEL’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of MEL, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 6 July 2021 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Re: MEL - Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Metgasco Ltd ( ASX: MEL ) ( Metgasco , or the Company ) requests a halt in trading of its securities effective immediately.

The Company provides the following information in accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1:

• The trading halt is requested pending an announcement in relation to a proposed capital raising

• The Company requests that the trading halt is to remain in place until the earlier of such time it makes an announcement to the market in relation to the capital raising and the commencement of trading on Tuesday 6 July 2021

• The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
