Metgasco – CSG Drilling Experience / Capability Improved

Metgasco is pleased to announce that Dr Simon Hann has been appointed as the company’s new Drilling and Production Manager.

Dr Hann has extensive experience in oil and gas drilling operations and coal seam gas specifically. He is currently the Manager CSG Drilling and Completions for the Santos / GLNG operations in Queensland, where he has been managing 9 rigs and drilling 200 wells per year. He has previously worked for Shell International, Woodside and Geodynamics.

Mr Peter Henderson, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Metgasco Ltd, said today that the appointment of Dr Hann is an important step in building the expertise necessary to take the company from exploration to its commercialisation phase.

“Dr Hann’s extensive drilling experience and his Queensland CSG experience will help Metgasco prove additional reserves and improve production rates in the Clarence Moreton basin,” Mr Henderson said.
