APPOINTMENT OF MANAGING DIRECTOR

Canadian cobalt and Cu-Ni-Co-PGE explorer Meteoric Resources NL (ASX: MEI; “Meteoric” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Andrew Tunks as Managing Director providing the necessary technical and corporate expertise to direct the Company’s upcoming fully funded exploration activities.

Dr Tunks is a member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists holding a B.Sc. (Hons.) from Monash and a Ph.D. from the University of Tasmania. Dr. Tunks has held numerous senior executive positions in a range of small to large resource companies including Auroch Minerals, A-Cap Resources, IAMGOLD Corporation and Abosso Goldfields.

In his role as CEO and director of A-Cap Resources Dr. Tunks led the discovery of the 10[th] largest uranium resource in the world and managed four separate capital raisings totalling AUD$45 million. Through his 30-year career within the resource and academic sectors Dr. Tunks has developed a unique skill set including technical, promotional and corporate expertise which will make him invaluable in the next stages of Meteoric’s project advancement.

Dr Tunks stated:

“Meteoric presents a very exciting exploration opportunity. Over the past 6 months the team has done a fantastic job in acquiring several highly prospective primary cobalt and CU-NiPGM projects within world clause producing areas.

With the assay results from a maiden drilling campaign at Midrim due shortly and commencement of an aggressive exploration programme targeting the Company’s primary cobalt projects, 2018 will undoubtedly be an exciting year for the Company and I am truly pleased to be part of it.“

Current Executive Director, Mr Graeme Clatworthy, will step back to a Non-Executive Director role. The Company thanks Mr Clatworthy for his services as Executive Director.

Dr. Tunks’ will provide his services as Managing Director on average 3 days per week. He will be compensated $12,500 per month (excluding GST). Subject to shareholder approval, Dr. Tunks will also be provided with an agreed security incentive package. Termination with cause shall be immediate and otherwise on three months written notice by either party.
