DIRECTOR APPOINTMENTS

Metals X Limited (Metals X or the Company) is pleased to announce the following appointments to the Board of Metals X.

Mr Simon Heggen – Non-Executive Director (Independent)

Mr Heggen holds Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws Degrees from the Australian National University and worked in Investment Banking during the late 1980’s and early 1990’s before joining Wesfarmers’ Business Development team in Perth. In 1995 he returned to Melbourne to join WMC Resources in a senior corporate development role. In that position he worked on many of the transactions and development projects undertaken by the Company up to and including the BHP Billiton takeover. Following that, he worked for the Cement Division of Boral Limited in Sydney as General Manager, Business Development & Strategic Planning. He then worked in stockbroking and as a consultant to the Resource sector before becoming Managing Director and CEO of a listed exploration company, Resource Star Ltd, in 2011. Mr Heggen has around 28 years’ proven experience in strategic planning, corporate development, M&A and corporate finance with the bulk of this in Resource sector. In that time he has worked on projects in the following commodities and products; Gold, Copper, Nickel, Uranium, Iron Ore, Coal, TiO2 Feedstock, Bauxite & Alumina, Ammonium Phosphates, Potash and other Industrial Minerals.

Mr Scott Huffadine – Executive Director

Metals X Limited is a diversified group exploring and developing metals and minerals in Australia. It is Australia’s largest tin producer and holds a pipeline of assets from exploration to production, including two gold development projects and the world-class Wingellina Nickel Project.

Pursuant to the merger with Westgold Resources Limited announced on 17 October 2012 Mr Huffadine has been appointed as an Executive Director of the Company.

Mr Huffadine is a geologist (BSc (Hons)) with over 18 years’ experience in the resources industry, specifically in mining project management and geology. He has been the Managing Director of Westgold Resources Limited since June 2011. During the period June 2007 to June 2011 he was the Chief Operating Officer and an Executive Director of Metals X. Prior to joining Metals X, he was employed by Harmony Gold Australia Pty Ltd as the General Manager of the Hill 50 Gold project for four years which included the assets that encompass the current Central Murchison Gold Project. He has also held a number of previous roles including with Hill 50 Gold NL, WMC Resources and Dominion Mining Ltd.
