Metals Exploration plc (AIM: MTL) ("Metals Exploration" or the "Company"), the natural resources exploration and development company with assets in the Pacific Rim region.

Short Term Loans Update

On 31 December 2018 the Company announced that it was in default of a condition subsequent pursuant to the terms and conditions of the $6.6million short term loan received from MTL (Luxembourg) Sarl Limited and Runruno Holdings Limited (together the "Lenders").

The Company confirms the Lenders have approved an extension of time to complete the work required to fulfil the condition subsequent until 31 January 2019.
