METALS EXPLORATION PLC

Metals Exploration plc (AIM: MTL) ("Metals Exploration" or the "Company"), the natural resources exploration and development company with assets in the Pacific Rim region.

BOARD CHANGES

The Company announces that Mr Christopher Whitehouse has resigned as a non-executive director of the Company, effective as of 5 December 2014. Mr Lucian Eduard Simovici has been appointed a non-executive director, effective as of 19 January 2015. Mr Simovici was nominated as a director by MTL (Luxembourg) Sarl Pte Ltd in accordance with the Subscription and Shareholders' Agreement which completed on 5 April 2011, and a deed of adherence signed by MTL (Luxembourg) Sarl Pte Ltd dated 27 August 2014.

Lucian "Eduard" Simovici, aged 34, is or has been a director or member of the following companies or partnerships during the last five years:
