Metals Australia Ltd (ASX: MLS) – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Metals Australia Ltd (‘MLS’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of MLS, pending it releasing an announcement. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Thursday, 20 August 2020 or when the announcement is released to the market.

In accordance with ASX Listing Rule 17.1 the Directors of Metals Australia Limited ( Metals Australia or the Company ) ( ASX: MLS ), hereby requests a trading halt to be placed on the Company’s securities pending the release of an announcement by the Company in relation to a material capital raising.

The Company requests the securities remain in trading halt until the earlier of the announcement to the market or the commencement of trade on Thursday, 20 August 2020.

The Company is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted.
