Directorate Change - Appointment of Executive Director

MetalNRG plc (LON:MNRG) the natural resource investing and exploration company announces that it has appointed Pierpaolo Rocco to the Board as an Executive Director, reporting to Rolf Gerritsen, to lead on the Oil and Gas project that the Company has now entered an exclusivity agreement on as announced to the market earlier today.

Pierpaolo brings a wealth of oil & gas expertise with him and will be leading the due diligence process on the deal. With successes as both an executive director and large-scale project manager, Pierpaolo has over 20 years' experience leading project development activity within the oil & gas industry, with a track record of leading high performing teams to profitable outcomes in both small-cap and major organisations.

With broad engineering and project execution experience gained covering key positions for Tier-1 Operators (Total, Eni, Shell) as well as Contractors (Subsea7, SBM, Saipem), ranging from field development to late-life extension strategies, from engineering and construction of subsea infrastructure to surface production/export facilities, from near-shore/landfall works to large deep-water developments, from turnkey EPCI/EPCC contracts to reimbursable IRM/brownfield work, Pierpaolo is skilled in defining robust pathways for complex projects and change programs, from in-depth planning through to leadership of efficient operational delivery models with effective governance frameworks, Pierpaolo is ideally placed to help us develop our oil & gas opportunity.

This announcement is made pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.11. In accordance with LR 9.6.13R of the Listing Rules, the Company confirms that there is no information to be disclosed in terms of LR 9.6.13R (1) to LR 9.6.13R (6) inclusive in respect of Mr Rocco.
