METabolic EXplorer: First-half 2013 turnover

Clermont-Ferrand, 18 July 2013 – METabolic EXplorer, a green chemistry company that specializes in the development of bioprocesses for the production of chemical compounds used in a wide range of everyday products (textile fibres, paints, solvents, animal feed supplements, adhesives, etc.), today published its financial data for the second quarter of 2013.

Turnover for second quarter 2013 was €375,000. This resulted from the partnership with the Roquette group, for the industrial development of L-Methionine.

At this stage of METabolic EXplorer's development, this turnover figure is in no way a relevant metric of its value or business.

As of June 30th, 2013, METabolic EXplorer had cash and equivalent of €20.6 million compared with €23.2 million as of December 31st, 2012.
