METabolic EXplorer (Euronext: METEX), is a green chemistry company that specializes in the development of bioprocesses for the production of chemical compounds used in a wide range of everyday products (paints, solvents, animal feed supplements, adhesives, textile fibres, resorbable surgical thread).

The group announces 2008 year-end and fourth quarter revenues.

For the full year 2008, METabolic EXplorer's revenues totalled 3.22M€, up 15.4% compared to 2007. Revenues from the fourth quarter 2008 totalled 1.29M€.

METabolic EXplorer notes that at its current stage of development, revenues are poorly representative of the overall value of the company and can vary widely from one financial period to the next. This year's revenues are almost exclusively from licences for two on-going technology programmes developed under partnership and subject to contractual payments based on advances and achievements of specific key steps in the evolution of the projects.
