Mercia Asset Management PLC (AIM: MERC), the regionally focused, specialist alternative asset manager with over £1.8billion of assets under management, announces that it has received notification of the following transaction relating to Ordinary shares of £0.00001 each in the capital of Mercia ("Ordinary Shares") by a Director and PDMR of the Company as follows:

·    Martin Glanfield, Director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company, became beneficially interested in a further 129,624 Ordinary Shares. These shares were bought yesterday at 27.00p per share by his SIPP.
