MELROSE INDUSTRIES PLC

INITIAL REDUCTION OF CAPITAL BECOMES EFFECTIVE

On 20 November 2015, Melrose Industries PLC ("the Company"), formerly known as New Melrose Industries PLC, received Court confirmation of the initial reduction of the share capital of the Company, pursuant to which the nominal value of each ordinary share in the capital of the Company has been reduced from 26.5 pence to 1 penny.

The order of the Court was registered by the Registrar of Companies today and the initial reduction of capital is therefore effective.
