ANNOUNCEMENT

This statement is made at the request of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “Stock Exchange”).

We have noted the recent increase in the trading volume of the shares of the Company.

The Directors of the Company wish to announce that the Company has been informed by Lai Sun Garment (International) Limited that its wholly-owned subsidiary has on 10th May, 2006 disposed of a total of 24,182,809 shares in the Company (representing approximately 3.92% of the existing issued share capital of the Company) on the Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HK$0.60 to HK$0.63 per share. Total trading volume of the shares of the Company on the Stock Exchange today is 29,462,808 shares.

We also confirm that, save for the matters disclosed above and in the three announcements of the Company of which two are dated 4th March, 2006 and one is dated 10th March, 2006, there are no negotiations or agreements relating to intended acquisitions or realisations which are discloseable under rule 13.23, neither is the Board aware of any matter discloseable under the general obligation imposed by rule 13.09, which is or may be of a price-sensitive nature.
