New Mekonomen Medium establishments in Norrbotten/Northern Sweden

Mekonomen and EPS Gruppen AB has entered an agreement on establishing a Mekonomen Medium unit in Kiruna, combining a store and a Mekonomen Bilverkstad/workshop, with an outstanding offering in terms of availability and service level. The goal is to initiate this collaboration during the autumn of 2009 and to develop the collaboration further with another Mekonomen Medium unit, in Gällivare, during 2010. The units will operate in a subsidiary wholly owned by EPS Gruppen.

EPS Gruppen (the EPS Group) is a family owned company and is a dealership for Volvo, Ford and Renault since 50 years. The business encompasses sales and service of cars, transport vehicles and buses. The revenue of the Group was 457 MSEK in 2008. This collaboration will lead to further growth in the service market for cars and transport vehicles.
