Press release 14 August 2017

Marcus Larsson leaves his position as executive vice president of Mekonomen Group

Marcus Larsson leaves, on his own initiative, his position as executive vice president for a new assignment at another employer.

"I want to thank Marcus for his work at Mekonomen Group, where he has contributed to the development and success of the company the last 14 years. As executive vice president, Marcus has been responsible for marketing, strategic business development and the group purchasing organization. Marcus is a business-driven and highly appreciated co-worker and I wish him good luck in his new assignment.", says Pehr Oscarson, president and CEO of Mekonomen Group.

The position, with responsibility for market, business development and purchasing, will not be replaced in its current form. Tobias Narvinger will be new chief purchasing officer from 1 September 2017. Tobias, who previously held the position as purchasing manager in Mekonomen Group, returns to the company after a period of employment with another employer. The responsibility for market and business development will be allocated to existing resources in the group.
