Board Update

Brisbane, AUSTRALIA, 19 May 2021. Megaport Limited ( ASX:MP1 ), a leading global Network as a Service (NaaS) provider, is pleased to announce that Ms Melinda Snowden will be appointed to the Board as a Non-Executive Director from 1 June 2021. Ms Snowden brings extensive finance experience to the Board, and will replace Mr Jay Adelson as Chair of the Audit & Risk Committee effective 1 June 2021. Mr Adelson will remain on the committee.

Ms Snowden has more than 20 years of experience in financial services including as an investment banker with Grant Samuel, Merrill Lynch, and Goldman Sachs in Australia and New York. She is currently a Non-Executive Director and Chairman of the Audit and Risk Committee of WAM Leaders Limited (ASX: WLE) and Sandon Capital Investments Limited (ASX: SNC). Ms Snowden is also a Council member of Newington College, Our Ark Mutual Limited, and an advisory board member of Yarno, a SaaS compliance training and education provider. Ms Snowden has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Mercer Investments (Australia) Limited, Kennards Self Storage Pty Limited, SANE Australia and MLC Limited plus a number of its associated boards.

With Ms Snowden’s appointment, as well as the Board appointments of Ms Naomi Seddon and Ms Glo Gordon, 40% of all Board directors and 50% of the Board’s Non-Executive Directors will be women. Melinda’s appointment is part of our commitment to build an exceptional team of people, with the best skills, that best represents our shareholders and community”.

Megaport is also forming a new advisory board to focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives, reporting to Chief Executive Officer, Mr Vincent English. The initial members of the advisory board will be Ms Seddon, Ms Snowden, and Ms Gordon.

Mr Slattery will step down from the Audit & Risk Committee from 1 June 2021, and Mr Mike Klayko, who joined the Board in March, will be appointed a member of the Innovation Committee as of 1 June 2021.
