ANNOUNCEMENT ON APPOINTMENT OF EMPLOYEE REPRESENTATIVE SUPERVISOR OF THE TWELFTH SESSION OF THE SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE

This announcement is made by Hisense Home Appliances Group Co., Ltd. (the “ Company ”) pursuant to Rule 13.51(2) of the Rules (“ Listing Rules ”) Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ( the “ Stock Exchange ”).

The term of office of the current supervisors will expire soon. In order to ensure the normal operation of the supervisory committee of the Company, a meeting of the employee representatives was held on 21 June 2024 and Mr. Bao Yi (“ Mr. Bao ”) was elected as the employee representative supervisor of the twelfth session of the supervisory committee of the Company.

The twelfth session of the supervisory committee of the Company shall comprise Mr. Bao and two shareholder representative supervisors. Mr. Bao’s tenure will commence from 24 June 2024 until the end of the twelfth session of the supervisory of the Company.

Mr. Yin Zhi Xin will no longer serve as the Company’s employee representative supervisor due to the work adjustment upon the expiry of his term on 24 June 2024. The Company would like to express its sincere gratitude to Mr. Yin Zhi Xin for his contribution to the development of the Company during his tenure.

The biographical details of Mr. Bao are as follows:

Mr. Bao Yi, aged 44, Master’s degree, served as the general manager of business department, and vice president of Qingdao Hisense Hitachi Air-Conditioning Systems Co., Ltd. Mr. Bao serves as the deputy

secretary of the Party Committee and chairman of the Labor Union of the Company.

Mr. Bao did not hold any directorships in any other listed companies in the last three years, and was not interested in any Shares within the meaning of Part XV of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong) and did not have any relationships with any Directors, senior management, substantial shareholders (having the meaning ascribed to it in the Listing Rules) or controlling shareholders (having the meaning ascribed to it in the Listing Rules) of the Company.

Mr. Bao is appointed as an employee representative supervisor at the representative supervisor meeting, Mr. Bao will enter into a supervisor’s service contract with the Company and his tenure will commence from 24 June 2024 until the end of the twelfth session of the supervisory of the Company. During his term of office, Mr. Bao will not receive any remuneration as a supervisor.

Save as disclosed above, there is no other information required to be disclosed pursuant to the requirements of Rules 13.51(2)(h) to (v) of the Listing Rules, and there is no other matter relating to the appointment of Mr. Bao that needs to be brought to the attention of the Shareholders.
